The sands of time are falling to quickly.

Oh, I can see the future and I am headed straight for major chaotic, seven weeks till my son joins our growing family. A newborn, a two year old drama queen, and a mischievous 5 year old boy; what were we thinking. Now our female German short hair is in heat and yeah let breed her so the puppies should be here a few weeks after the babies born. Then summer will finally be here. It is finally time to plant a yard and a garden something I have been dreaming of for 4 years. Summer also means major construction for my wonderful contractor husband. I anticipate the completion of our exterior of our house, a chicken coop and a dog kennel. I can hardly wait. When my husband isn't working for someone or on our house we will be camping and fishing. I look forward to the sun and fresh fruit, lots of fish, dinner on our deck, wine and sunsets in the place we call home. For 5 months out of the year this place is truly Paradise. I am currently working on my daughter's quilt and really want to complete it for here 2ND birthday which is how long I have been laboring it. It is truly my first project sewing. I don't know what I am doing but I helped build a house I think I can handle a sewing machine. Ha Ha. I have all the blocks pieced together and now I will start putting them together. I have also just bought Bend the Rules by Amy Karol and In Stitches by Amy Butler which represents Christmas I hope to do through out the year. I have also been contemplating cloth diapers but I just don't know???? So many things going on and I think about them in the middle of the night. I sure can't wait to sleep through the night again.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's day has a very special meaning for me. It is the day that my husband and I promised to be together forever and alway. In the grand scheme of things I am only begining to realize what that means. My husband has enriched my life on so many levels, I cannot even believe that I existed before I met him. I live to serve him in any way I think might make him happy, so that I might return a fraction of love that he has shown me. I live to love that man. I know that I am the Lucky One. The Lord made that man just for me. I thank God for his blessings may times everyday. The Lord also blessed us with these two little people and Oh Boy, they are a very fun and very challenging. God bless them and give me an unending supply of patience. Here they are enjoying a little tea party. Life is good. Celebrate love, it is so sweet.

This is my husband Matthew. This Valentine's Day is our 4th anniversary. My love for this man grows daily. He is wonderful. This was on our wedding day.

My First Time

Hi my name is Krista and this is my first blog. I started looking at blogs about a week ago, in search of montessori information. I came acrossed Montessori by Hand. I am so addicted now. I love sewing yet I am not experienced at it and I don't have a good sewing machine. I am a stay at home mom with my 5 year old son, Jonah and my 2 year old daughter, AnnaMarie. I am also about 6 1/2 months pregnant with my son TBA, whom I can't wait to meet. We live in a house/ construction site that my wonderful husband designed and built with a little help from me. Ha Ha. I am the housekeeper, the teacher, the want-to-be crafter, cook/baker. I have a BFA in photography yet I take no picture. I have a darkroom to be, ah I love my husband. I never knew that marriage was like this. I am a fairytale princess and my husband is truely prince charming. I am so lucky in love.
